A review of agent-based modeling for simulation of agricultural systems

چکیده
In this manuscript global research trends are analyzed in agent-based modeling (ABM), which is applied to face the inherent complexity of agricultural systems. The search was carried out Scopus, during period 2009-2019, and VOSviewer© software used as a bibliometric tool. results show that ABM under two approaches: policy evaluation, three thematic areas: systems computation sciences, geography ecology environmental science. purpose study investigate types phenomena: land-use changes, water management evaluation. has been shown be useful for exploring understanding society-nature relationship an interdisciplinary transdisciplinary approach, supporting decision-making processes via its application Latin American context, our purposes still utmost importance.
